Hilariously funny. great flick!!! - There's Something About Mary Reviews
I must be the last person on the planet to have seen this movie, but I guess better late than never. I saw it on TV a couple nites ago, and now I understand why so many people were talking about it some years ago. It's a very, VERY funny and clever movie. Held my attention every moment, had lots of surprises in it, and basically gave me a lot of laughs, big laughs, not just chuckles. I don't want to say anything more about it, but if you have not seen it yet, rent it. It's GREAT!!! And in case you find yourself thinking it's kind of stupid or adolescent, just be patient. You'll love it.
Franks and beans! - There's Something About Mary Reviews
This is one of the top 5 funniest movies ever made without question. Almost everyone in it is hilarious. The filmmakers are geniusses, because they even made a funny character out Matt Dylan! So many classic scenes and quotes...a must-see.

Theres everything funny about mary - There's Something About Mary Reviews
this movie is great.once again ben stiller rocks.hes one of my favorite actors. cameron diaz also was amazing. theres just two gross parts.
There's something about diaz - There's Something About Mary Reviews
It looks to me that Cameron Diaz has never been so adorable , enchanting and sexy as before.. I myself would have pursue Mary if it was real life (Mary s as beauty as Diaz ad a worker as told in the moviw, NOT an actreess as is Diaz). And Yes, the Story is so true in many levels.. quite fresh and original in some sense.. Thumbs up for the Farellys
Something about this movie - There's Something About Mary Reviews
I can tell that this movie will be one of those movies where you forget about until you see it on a TV special one night. You watch it, then you remember it was funny, but not good enough to buy.

i loved it. i never laughed so hard in my life. ben stiller is hilarious. it's definitely one of my favorite movies and i recommend it to anyone who has a sense of humor.
There's nothing about mary - There's Something About Mary Reviews
Cameron Diaz looks like a stick figure or a praying mantis with the face of a frog, her breasts are nothing to sing praise about but she still goes around braless in public and she can't hide her annoying valley girl voice! Ben Stiller looks like the lead singer from Red Hot Chili Peppers! His zipper scene and his masterbation scene were so obviously faked! In general, Ben Stiller movies like both this one and Starsky and Hutch suck big time! Any movie with disabled people as major characters sucks! Are we supposed to believe that such a renouned Orthopaedic Surgeon smokes pot casually and talks like a valley girl? Yeah right, five guys all go nutzoid about such an unattractive ditzy dumb blonde! I've found that women who enjoy this flick are all single and they just wish that they could get that much attention! Boo!

Don't go out with a loaded gun! - There's Something About Mary Reviews
This movie was the funniest ever!
I watched one day and thought, "OMG! I gotta call ALL my friends!" So, I did!
When by B.F.F. came over, we watched it. Well, she had already seen it, but now we totally love and worship Ben Stiller (Ted) and Chris Elliot (Woogie). We quote them all the time! "Have you ever had a whitehead on your eyeball?" Sorry. I can't help myself.
Acually, the best part of the movie is the end.
I LUV THE MUSIC VIDEO!
I SAY GO OUT AND RENT THIS MOVIE, WATCH IT, WATCH IT AGAIN, AND THEN BUY IT! (but not with a loaded gun... mmmkay?)
Sometimes a comedy can change the quality of... - There's Something About Mary Reviews
...your life -- this one did for me. My life has been an odyssey of horrors for the last ten years and when I saw this I couldn't stop laughing!! It was (and is) WONDERFUL!! Doctors should prescribe this movie to patients suffering depression. It's too good. It's GREAT!! Prepare to bust your gut. Enjoy -- you really have no choice.
Another great comedy from ben stiller - There's Something About Mary Reviews
Is it just me or has Ben Stiller never been in a bad movie. Naw, Ben Stiller just has never made a bad movie. I wanted to see all of his movies prior to seeing Meet the Fockers this December, and now there is only one left that I havn't seen. This is a great comedy that is abundant in gross humor, yet funny enough to enjoy. I'm a 15 year old guy, and I have to say that in the last 24 hours nothing has been funnier than seeing a guy get his balls stuck in a zipper or watching a retard ask girls if they've seen his weiner. Everything in this movie is hilarious I almost laughed non- stop. Most movies these days are gross but not funny, some are funny but not gross enoguh, but this one is just right. For anyone that is a true fan of sick, gross, and vulgar Ben Stiller comedys this one is for you. Even if you don't i'm pretty sure that you'll enjoy this movie.

Hair gel? - There's Something About Mary Reviews
I LOVED THIS MOVIE SO MUCH THAT I SAW IT 3 TIMES AT THE THEATRE AND FELL OUT OF MY CHAIR LAUGHING EVERY TIME! THE GAGS AND LINES IN THIS MOVIE ARE SO NON-STOP THAT YOUR MOUTH WILL HURT FROM SMILING BY THE TIME THE FILM IS OVER. ALTHOUGH BEN STILLER PLAYS THE SAME CAN'T GET A BREAK CHARACTER, YOU CANT HELP BUT FEEL FOR THIS GUY AND HOPE HE GETS THE GIRL IN THE END.
There's something about this movie - There's Something About Mary Reviews
There's something About Mary is hilariuos and truly original. The Brothers Farrelly are comic genuises. This film is without a doubt in the top 10 funniest. Cameron diaz is beautiful and stiller is side-splitting. Hair gel anyone?

Grade "a" comedy - There's Something About Mary Reviews
This IS the best romantic oomedy of all time, no doubt. And I would love for someone to challenge me on that. From beginning to end, this film failed to have one person take their eyes off the screen or not laugh at least once (at least in the theatre I was in).
Acting: PRIMA (AWESOME)! Ben Stiller did an excellent job at his role, as well as Cameron Diaz and Matt Dillon. I usually don't thro the "O" word around casually, but they should have seriosuly received an OScar fortheir performances. Not kidding. (A+)
Story: The story was ALMOST great. It was humorous, somewhat romantic, and highly original, however at some point s it seemed like it was making fun of the mentally disabled. It was a very short seen, and seemed kind of inocent to others, but I wasn't lughing that much during that scene. Otherwise, the story got an A-.
The storyline and acting in the fil mwere really what made THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY great. The visuals and direction of the film were outstanding as well (Both receive an A). Overall, I gave the film an A. I ghly recommend seeing this film at least once. You won't regret it!
Lol - There's Something About Mary Reviews
A crude humor that makes you laugh all the way back home from the theatre. The Farelley Brothers create a masterpiece.
Something was missing - There's Something About Mary Reviews
I don't know what it is, but something was missing from this movie. Was it funny, yes, but other then seeing it when it came out and a second time when it went to video I can't bring myself to watch it again. I think some of the characters just got on my last nerve. I understand what Matt Dillon was going for, but his complete over acting made me feel embarassed for him. The pizza guy takes the cake though. I wanted to shoot myself whenever he was on the screen. Cameron Diaz cashed a check for looking pretty. Ben Stiller started his trend of playing the goofy vulnerable guy that would last him, well it's still going to this day. Chris Elliot was the only performance I really enjoyed. It was a bit over the top also, but being that he was the ultimate stalker we'll let that go. See this movie once, and see if you actually want to watch it a second time. If you do then obviously you don't mind an assinine amount of actors embarring themselves, and I don't just mean by their actions in the script either.

The best comedy eva - There's Something About Mary Reviews
This movie is not only a great romantic comedy but is also the best gross out comedy eva made and its gross out jokes aren't all that negative unlike the one's in gross out comedies today.
The acting is superb, Cameron Diaz is perfect as Mary, so was Ben Stiller as the luckless Ted, Matt Dillon was weired (but in a good way) as Pat however a special mention to the actors who played Warren, Tucker and offcourse Magda.
PS. Whatever became of poor Puffy???
There' something about this movie... - There's Something About Mary Reviews
That makes me want to die! One of the most unentertaining movies of all time! Ben stiller, oh please! with his llama teeth and janky ol hair! He shoulda filed for food stamps after making this atrocity.
Dumb - There's Something About Mary Reviews
The Dumbest movie I have EVER seen! EVER!! I sat through the whole movie hoping it would get better....and it never did. What a waste of money and time.

It's so funny and romantic! - There's Something About Mary Reviews
"There's Something About Mary" is one of those movies that I heard a lot about but was able to shrug off. When it was released on video, I waited about three months before renting it. Afterwards, I realized waiting was my mistake.
When a prank involving a mentally retarded boy named Warren (W. Earl Brown) almost turns into a fight, Ted (Ben Stiller) steps in to help the disabled student. Warren's sister Mary (Cameron Diaz) is very appreciative prompting her to ask him to prom. Ted is surprised, more like shocked, but he happily accepts the invitation. A disaster involving his "franks and beans" takes place though, and the date doesn't occur. Ted never gets a chance to say goodbye as Mary's family moves to Miami. Years later, Ted is in therapy realizing that he is still madly in love with Mary. He hires a private detective named Healy (Matt Dillon), to track her down, but Healy falls for her and soon moves to Florida to try and romance her. He tells Ted she is a disabled, overweight, mail-order bride, but when Ted finds out that isn't true he and friend Dom (Chris Elliott) head to Miami to locate the love-of-his-life Mary.
This is a very funny movie with gags that work better than most moviemakers could. Directed by Bobby and Peter Farrelly they have put gross comedic situations on screen and actually made them humorous, something that a lot of comedies are forgetting to do.
The strength of "There's Something About Mary" though, isn't its comedy. The story is remarkably sweet. I literally was rooting for Ted at the end of the film, and there aren't many movies I can say that about. Matt Dillon's Healy is another strong character with the silly moustache and too-perfect teeth. Then, of course, there's Diaz. Mary has been adored by so many people she should have had a huge ego, but she is so kind and genuine that she has her head on straighter than most people. This is a character you can't help but like, and it becomes obvious that there really is something about Mary.
Watching the characters interact was fun, but often it seemed very real. The scene where Mary invites Ted to the prom is a perfect example, as the conversation seems like a conversation that could really take place with the familiar nervous awkwardness we've all felt. The Farrelly brothers along with screenwriter's Ed Decter and John J. Strauss all deserve credit for this true-to-life dialogue.
"There's Something About Mary" is some of the most fun you can have watching a movie. It is two hours of comedy, great characters, some neat songs, and a truly charming story. It's one of my favorite movies of all time and definitely my choice for best film of the year.
Funny moments strung together by an okay story - There's Something About Mary Reviews
This one is in the Farrelly Brothers Hall of Fame. There are some classicly funny moments in the film that make it worth watching.
"Franks and beans!" "We got a bleeder!" "Brett Farver" and the hitchhiker episode are among my favorites.
Matt Dillon's character is my favorite as some of his lines are hilarious as are some of his actions.
Cameron Diaz is a little too perfect a character, but she is in the film merely to attract the men. The film is about the guys who are drawn to Mary not about Mary herself.
If you're politically correct run like hell from this film. Frankly, a lot of lines get crossed in this story. I was put off by some of it, but there are a lot of laughs.
