Grade 'a' comedy - There's Something About Mary Reviews
This IS the best romantic comedy of all time, no doubt. And I would love for someone to challenge me on that. From beginning to end, this film failed to have one person take their eyes off the screen or not laugh at least once (at least in the theatre I was in).
Acting: PRIMA (AWESOME)! Ben Stiller did an excellent job at his role, as well as Cameron Diaz and Matt Dillon. I usually don't thro the "O" word around casually, but they should have seriosuly received an Oscar for their performances. Not kidding. (A+)
Story: The story was ALMOST great. It was humorous, somewhat romantic, and highly original, however at some point s it seemed like it was making fun of the mentally disabled. It was a very short seen, and seemed kind of inocent to others, but I wasn't lughing that much during that scene. Otherwise, the story got an A.
The storyline and acting in the fil mwere really what made THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY great. The visuals and direction of the film were outstanding as well. Overall, I gave the film an A. I highly recommend seeing this film at least once. You won't regret it!
