Don't go out with a loaded gun! - There's Something About Mary Reviews

This movie was the funniest ever! I watched one day and thought, "OMG! I gotta call ALL my friends!" So, I did! When by B.F.F. came over, we watched it. Well, she had already seen it, but now we totally love and worship Ben Stiller (Ted) and Chris Elliot (Woogie). We quote them all the time! "Have you ever had a whitehead on your eyeball?" Sorry. I can't help myself. Acually, the best part of the movie is the end. I LUV THE MUSIC VIDEO! I SAY GO OUT AND RENT THIS MOVIE, WATCH IT, WATCH IT AGAIN, AND THEN BUY IT! (but not with a loaded gun... mmmkay?)

Not going out with a 'loaded gun' is almost certainly the best advice you could ever get from a film. It's perfectly scripted and played too as though it's known standard practice to every male but Ted and the viewer.
All those times I've shamelessly turned into a love-struck Care Bear in front of the person I want could've been avoided if it wasn't for the baby-batter making me want to hump them like a frisky puppy-dog!
No doubt a classic comedy, although, perhaps not as good as American Pie (same year?). Mainly let down by some improvised, disabled-person, tokenism scenes and that truly horrible band that keep popping up like an ugly, inappropriate product-placement.
This is gonna be high in people's Top 10 comedies, but better films than it will not feature in most people's list, such as Airplane I/II, Top Secret and, the 2 or 3 actual best comedy movies, Monty Python's Life of Brian/Holy Grail/Meaning of Life.

...Oh, and for potheads, Half Baked is hilarious, hilarious for anyone actually. Pineapple Express is good too, whether a grass-junkie or not.
The Scary Movie series had some great moments too, especially the first ones...Senseless - anyone seen that? Had its moments, as did Kids in the Hall: Brain Candy.
...There's not that many perfect comedy movies though, in reality, in the same way there's not really that many flawless dramatic films.
There's certainly far less than 100 great comedy films, even if you like all styles of comedy, as you should.
...Dr.Strangelove; Planes, Trains & Automobiles; The Jerk; Dirty, Rotten Scoundrels - were all great or had some classic moments.
In recent years, TV's Family Guy has been the best comedy to watch. Best. Show. Ever.
***Probably missed out many of my actual fav's whilst listing some ropey ones there***

Ah...finally...
There's some great 'semi-comedies' too - An American Werewolf in London; Pulp Fiction; Reservoir Dogs; Ghost World; American Beauty...etc?
Do we include stand-up too?: Eddie Murphy Delirious (and apart from the over-misogynistic sections, Raw); Bill Hicks Revelations, of course, and Billy (Connelly) & Albert. Or, Monty Python's (re-made) sketches film And Now For Something Completely Different?
...Should I have mentioned Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, Stir Crazy, Dumb & Dumber earlier too?

Anyway, give

...Dammit! National Lampoon's Vacation/Christmas Vacation!
Sorry, I'm done now, but this is my legacy to anyone reading this in 2050, by which time I'll probably be dead!

*Pretty morbid thought for someone posting comments during the internet's infancy, knowing that surfers in the future will be reading dead me's words!...Probably trolling me too...Oh well...I T-bagged your gran! ;P
